I have been writing music ever since I was a kid. The first song I ever wrote was a song called "Just Kidding," which I wrote together with my friend Lee Austin in the fourth grade. I first started recording my music when I was seventeen years old. Now, nearly five years later, I have written and produced over 35 full tracks and released 2 full length albums.

The writing process always begins in my head. Beats and melodies are constantly running through my mind, and when I hear a nice sound, I grab my guitar and learn what I am hearing.  Unlike most other musicians, writing lyrics is always the last step of the song creation process for me. When writing songs, I often record all the instruments first, over-dubbing several instruments on top of one another, then add the vocals. Much of what you hear is made up on the spot. When I write a song, I do not do much planning. I have found that my music always comes out better when improvised during recording.

When writing a song, I try to write about real life experiences I have had that people can relate with.  As I grow as a musician I have learned more about song structure and have begun....
